Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) provides diagnostic imaging. They wanted patients to be able to self-schedule appointments.

The process for scheduling diagnostic imaging is complex. Time was spent with the phone schedulers, listening to calls to understand how appointments are scheduled and how questions are presented to the patient.

To ensure a quick process for the patient, we identified potential booking conflicts and issues, gathered information early, and provided live feedback to help them understand why certain imaging appointments cannot proceed.

The solution is a simple, easy-to-use scheduler that increases appointments and patient satisfaction. The patient can select the type of imaging they want, choose a location near them, view the next available appointment times, and select a time that's convenient for them.
